 Dear parents,
We are creating an outdoor play area for our children. This area will be situated to the left hand side of our building, behind the billboards. We are going to place sliding patio doors in the tweenie room to allow access to this new area. This means that our new area will be fully enclosed and secure for the children to play in and only accessible through the nursery.

Dear Parents,
As you may be aware, there have been a number of suspected cases of ‘Swine Flu’ in the local area, resulting in a few establishments closing as a precautionary matter.
As a nursery, we have been seeking advice from local health centres and have been given the following advice:
- The main thing to look out for is high temperature. This will show a few hours before ‘normal’ flu like symptoms appear.
- Sneezing
- Coughing
- Aches and Pains
- Fever
The main precaution being advised is to be wary. Children’s noses should be wiped regularly and the tissue immediately disposed of. Coughing and sneezing should be done into a tissue, and again disposed of as soon as possible. Hands should be washed thoroughly and regularly and dried properly, especially after coughing and sneezing.
If your child shows flu like symptoms, please contact your GP or NHS 24 as soon as possible.
NHS 24 Telephone Number: 08454 24 24 24
Please be aware that we are doing all that we can in nursery to prevent this infection entering our premises or spreading. However, please be wary of the symptoms and let us know if your child has been showing any of these.
We will keep you updated and informed of any changes.
Thank you for your co-operation,
The Staff at Growing Places
